About Our Company
When someone is arrested in the city of San Gabriel, they will be taken to the San Gabriel Police Department, located at 625 S Del Mar Ave San Gabriel, CA 91776. When the inmate arrives at the San Gabriel Jail, an officer on duty will take any of the personal belongings that the defendant may have on him or her for safekeeping for the remainder of the case or for the rest of the time that the inmate spends at the jail. When that is completed the jailer will then start the booking process, which can take anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours depending on how bust the jail is that day. The first step of the booking process is for the jailer to collect some personal information such as the defendant’s name and date of birth. The jailer will then take a photo of the inmate so that he or she could enter all of the gathered information into the Los Angeles Sheriff’s database. After that, the jailer will send the inmate to start the fingerprinting process which is done via the Live Scan machine. The Live Scan machine scans the inmate’s fingerprints and is directly connected to the department of justice. This process is used to determine if the defendant has any outstanding warrants or is wanted by any other agency in the area.
We here at Bail Bonds San Gabriel cannot post bail on the defendant’s behalf until the results from the Live Scan get back to the jailer and he or she clears the inmate for bail. Once the jailer receives the information from the fingerprint scan, he or she will then officially assign the arrestee his or her charges, bail amount, and court date. When you contact one of our agents at Your Bail Bonds San Gabriel, he or she will gather some information about the inmate from you such as his or her name and date of birth so that the agent could contact the jailer and gather all of the bail information. Once the agent has all of that information, he or she will begin the San Gabriel Jail release process.
After that, the agent will then contact you and set up a time and place for you two to meet so that you could fill out and sign some paperwork necessary to complete the jail release process for the city of San Gabriel. Once the paperwork is completed, the bail agent will then turn the paperwork into the Jailer, who will then verify that all of the information necessary for the jail release process. Once all of the information has been verified, the jailer will then release the inmate to your custody.
