If you have trouble finding a deposit in Miami and there are other options, you should never feel that skipping the deposit is your only option. Skipping bail for a serious offence is not something you should do without a proper awareness of what you are doing.

Let us first consider the consequences. If you are not attacked for any other reason, your local police will arrest you. An arrest warrant will be issued for you.

If you are charged with more offences relating to skipping bail, this can lead to more time in prison or other punishment. Your driving licence may be suspended until you appear in court. Your bond amount may be increased. It may be that you are no longer eligible for future deposit attempts, which means that you are no longer eligible for a deposit.

For others, such as family members and friends, there may be consequences if they have to pay the full amount of the bond. This could lead to serious financial problems for the family member or friend and interpersonal problems between the two of you. That’s serious enough not to do it.
